Academic Accommodations

The Office of Disability Services is the campus office designated to determine reasonable academic accommodations. A reasonable accommodation is a modification or adjustment to a course, program, service, job, activity, or facility that enables an individual with a disability to have an equal opportunity, equal access, or enjoy equal benefits as are available to an individual without a disability.

Through the online DS Portal, students registered with Disability Services can send faculty their Accommodation Letter. This letter verifies that appropriate documentation is on file that substantiates a disability requiring effective reasonable accommodations. This letter outlines the accommodations for which the student qualifies and the faculty must provide.

If you have any concerns or questions about the approved accommodations, please contact the appropriate DS counselor or director.
