Claire McAlister

Claire McAlister joined the Office of Disability Services in June 2025 as an Accommodation Coordinator. Claire holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. and Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Appalachian State University. Before joining UNC Charlotte, she served as a School Psychologist in K-12 schools in North Carolina. With this prior experience, she specializes in conducting and reviewing psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral analysis, consulting with educators, and collaborating with students, families, and educators. Her professional background also includes research in the areas of social cognition, morality, and mental health of young adults.
