Niner Paratransit
Niner Paratransit:
Disability Transport Service
Niner Paratransit provides scheduled and on-demand disability transport for individuals with mobility impairments who are registered for the service. Niner Paratransit has designated pick-up and drop-off locations throughout campus as close as possible to accessible building entrances. Niner Paratransit vehicles drive and park on paved pathways only.
► To reliably accommodate the population Niner Paratransit is designed to transport, all disability transport requests must be prearranged through Parking and Transportation Services (PaTS).
► Niner Paratransit is available to those who need transport services on a temporary (recent surgery, lower limb injuries, etc.) or long-term basis.
► To qualify for Niner Paratransit, students, faculty, and staff must submit the Niner Partransit Medical Verification Form to the Office of Disability Services for review. Upon review, DS staff verifies the documentation and sends email confirmation of eligibility to PaTS and to the student, faculty or staff member requesting Niner Paratransit services.
► Requests are processed and transport is scheduled quickly, usually within 24 hours. To pre-schedule paratransit services, registered riders complete and submit a Paratransit Transport Request Form to PaTS.
