Workforce Recruitment Program
What is WRP?
The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) connects motivated college students and recent graduates with disabilities to federal employers across the nation for summer internships and full-time jobs. Since the program’s expansion in 1995, thousands of students and recent graduates have received temporary and permanent employment opportunities through the WRP.
If you are interested, please contact the Office of Disability Services for more information! Interested students do not need to be registered with Disability Services to apply for WRP.
To qualify, an eligible candidate:
- Has a disability
- Is a United States citizen
- Is a current, full-time, degree-seeking, post-secondary student, unless they are taking a reduced course load due to a disability OR are in their final semester.
- Recently graduated from UNC Charlotte and meets the above criteria (excluding course load).

August 24, 2020: WRP Student Registration Opens
October 14, 2020: WRP Student Registration Closes
October 15, 2020: WRP Student Applications Due
October 26-November 18, 2020: Student Interview Period
